Paolo met me around 10 and we headed out to Sforza Castle which now houses museums. It's history was important during the 14th and 15th centuries and after, during all the occupations. We went to see an exhibit of some works of Michelangelo Bonorotti consisting of sketches, unfinished statues and a few paintings.
After the Castle we just had to stop for another espresso before continuing toward the Duomo, passing through the Galleria with it's very fancy McDonald's, to the "Rodeo Drive" of Milano. Doesn't everyone want to buy a 120 Euro dress shirt? At lunch we found a nice sidewalk restaurant and had panini and a nice cold beer followed by gelati and more espresso.
Paolo left me at my hotel and headed home. Tomorrow is the authentic Milanese dinner with the whole family and my last day in Milano. Sunday I pick up my car and head to Verbania along beautiful Lago Maggiore.
Later in the day I found a small grocery store and bought some wine from Piemonte(Fontana Fredda nebbiolo), bread and cheese which constituted my snack and dinner. When the light started fading I went to the Duomo for some people watching and a few photos and returned to the nest. Tomorrow is another day.
